Meet Your Host

Kashif Harrison (he/him) is a Sydney-based queer creative with a passion for storytelling and community building.

Born to an Indian-Pakistani family in Dubai, he moved to Australia in 2012 – and is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi. With over seven years of experience in radio presenting, acting, modelling and digital content creation, Kashif has become a prominent voice in the LGBTQI+ South Asian community.

Kashif currently hosts "Under the Brown Rainbow," a podcast presented by Trikone Australia that explores the diverse experiences of LGBTQI+ South Asians. Through heartfelt conversations with guests, Kashif delves into topics such as coming out, cultural taboos, and self-love, creating a safe space for authentic storytelling and connection.

With his engaging personality, professional expertise, and dedication to community empowerment, Kashif Harrison continues to make a positive impact in the LGBTQI+ South Asian community and beyond.
